We had a basement plumbing disaster and we called J & M Carpet Renewal. They were able to schedule someone to come the very next day and did a beautiful job. Got all of the awful stains from sewage (yes, sewage) out and the carpet looks like new and the odor is gone. Thank you, thank you!

Cesar, the service technician assigned to our job (cleaning basement carpet and staircase), was conscientious of our hardwood floors upstairs, very clean, professional and friendly! He explained the process thoroughly and walked me through the project using a UV flashlight to assess the condition of the carpet.Would 100% recommend.

J&M performed maintenance cleaning throughout my house including stairs and also carpet stretching in one room. Overall, I was impressed throughout the entire process and would not hesitate to use them again.Booking: Pricing is straight-forward with costs published online. No hidden fees, no nonsense. Booking was efficient with real-time online scheduling. I was also able to call and talk to someone who answered my questions.Cleaning: During the day of the cleaning, Cesar texted before he left and arrived on time. I live in a townhouse with a shared driveway, and what impressed me immediately was that without me having to say anything, he was very cognizant of parking in a location such that he did not impede my neighbors from getting in and out. He walked with me through every room with a black light so we could both see which areas required additional attention. After which, he removed/added services accordingly, and provided me the updated costs for my approval. During the process, he installed wall corner protectors such that the hose leading up from the truck would not scrape and damage my walls. When complete, he wiped down areas near my entry that were wet. The attention to detail was great and I felt confident that my carpets were cleaned properly.Carpet Stretching: During the day of the carpet stretching, Jason texted before he left and arrived on time. He looked over the room that needed carpet stretching and discussed with me my options. Due to the complexity of the shape of the room, to stretch every part out would cost more than a basic shaped room. There was no pressure to do the more complete job with higher cost, and ultimately he left it to me to decide how I wanted him to proceed. During the process, I watched for a bit and asked a bunch of questions on what he was doing and how. It was solely for my own curiosity and not because I didn’t trust him. He didn’t hesitate to explain everything he was doing. When he was done, he vacuumed and cleaned up any mess that was created. I was glad how the carpet turned out.Clear communication is key to me for any work I pay for, and they were good about it every step of the way. Like I said in the beginning, I thought they did a great job and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I thought the carpet would need to be replaced but with their renewal deep clean process it looks almost new am really impressed and will also use them for maintance cleans.

I did not rate 5 stars as I was extremely angry at this company sending out unvaccinated persons to enter people's homes. Yes, he was "masked" - but his mask was cotton and fully two inches away from his nose offering therefore zero protection. Please insist your employees are vaccinated. You can't let people who might be immune compromised let these people unknowingly into their homes!!!!

I am used to booking my carpet cleaning only a week out and when my usual cleaners couldn’t meet my deadline, I had to reach out for someone new. I sent out several requests and J & M had a cancellation and was able to take me. I saw the reviews and had high hopes and they did not disappoint. Both the owner and the pro who cleaned our carpets rocked it. While our carpets are in great shape for seven years old, J & M was able to remove stains that had been there through a couple cleanings with our usual team. They are total pros - smart, kind and totally professional. Highly recommend!!!

We contacted J&M to remove pet stains & odors after our “puppy vs carpet” potty training war ended. They were easy to schedule with fair pricing listed on their website. Lucas was on time, very kind and professional. The service was quick and we are happy with the results! The citrus scent from the cleaning solution was very strong and did give me a headache, but it dissipated after a few hours, and I’d take a clean citrus smell over dog pee any day! ;-)

My tech Lucas was excellent! Friendly and really great with my talkative son and niece. The pet odor product was great, they had to use the more concentrated odor remover as my dog was under some stress being in a new environment and her urine was particularly funky.Got a referral to my sister who booked them for carpet cleaning. So let me tell you why you should choose this company to come and clean your rugs. It's gonna be a touch long so go grab that popcorn and drink.On Thursday night I had decided to vacuum my dingy looking carpet and when I pulled up the area rug in the hallway, I found some uninvited guests that is a not so fun reminder of spring. Don't know where these guests came from, which entry way did they use, let alone why do the look dead? They were simply underneath that hallway rug. That rug isn't new, the apartment is no dirtier than usual, never seen before and Thank the Heaven they aren't the what Mah Man thought they were.So an Idea pops into my head of let's get the carpet cleaned using Hot water! Did some sleuthing and because I prefer the smaller companies than National Brands, I figured I would give J&M Carpet Renewal a chance, especially since I wasn't too happy with the last company.There was a wee bit of miscommunication at first because when I received the text and email and saw that it was only a rug clean, I made sure to let them know that I preferred the more expensive treatment of Restorative clean for 3 areas and an area rug that initially came out to $283. I was told that Technicians would come out on Monday, which was faster than I thought especially since I was contacting them on a Thursday night.Because I wanted to make sure that ALL of the rug was clean, I asked how many people would come to do the job? Due to health issues, I can't move furniture like I used to. I was told that there would be a fee, which I'm ok with. I was a little wary and leary about only 1 person showing up knowing how heavy furniture is, but at least Mah Man was here to help.Randy came in with an ultraviolet flashlight and explained the process, and the game plan. He showed how my efforts to get rid of stains with the usual stain remover wasn't adequate and truly unsuccessful. He also showed where my cats had thrown up at. He expertly cleaned my rugs and was able to get rid of the rose colored stain where the edible petal dust for edible flowers laid for some time. Although Mah Man rolled his eyes when I asked Randy to give the hallway another pass, Randy was gracious to accommodate me and my freakedoutness (It's a Mia Word, just go with it...and I don't think Scrabble would accept it but it works) about what had transpired in the hallway.The Restorarive process included using counter rotating brushes on my carpet, and the usual standard of putting "whatever orange scent" down, the hot water and suction and getting rid of stains that always seemed to come back. And the Pet stain Removal was an additional $150.Now here's the disappointing part...you know that inner 4 year that we all have...when Randy brought out that machine, the inner child soooo wanted to help!! All I could hear was I wanna do it, let me do it, I wanna push! It looked like he was having so much fun. I know he probably would have allowed me to push it just once to see how it felt, but ya kinda gotta be adult about this. And as I'm typing this, I'm thinking I should have at least asked.So the Rugs look fabulous, stains are not there, and I hope our Uninvited are gone too. Imma really have to question my vacuum cleaner now especially since my carpet looks fabulous.Randy worked effectively, effectively and was very professional. I think (but don't quote me on this) they would have come on that Friday had I called th earlier in the day, because Francis was VERY understanding. The only true feedback I think I should make is that if you text that Person J will be there and Person J isn't truly coming...then just text me that Person R will be. I do prefer to know which technician is coming. That's it...thanks for everything!!!

I rated this service low the first time because I did not feel the work was satisfactory. The following morning I received a call from Jason(owner) who promised to correct the issue. He was friendly and totally understood. I could instantly see he cared about the reputation and quality of his business and services. A few days later (scheduling) J&M returned and made good on their word, my carpet looks brighter and the stains have been removed. They did a great job and are very friendly! I like that they corrected any issues, up to even offering a refund- but I prefer the job well done.

Yet another Seattle storm decided to enter our basement bedroom, with ground water creeping in under the new carpet. I was in a panic, contacted a couple of places, and Jason reached out almost immediately and showed up that day. He sucked up the water (in areas my own shop vac missed), pulled up the carpet and pad, and even moved furniture into the next room. He left me with 2 industrials fans and came back a couple of days later to test everything, re-lay down the carpet, move the furniture, and offer great advice as to what to do if it happens again (and we all know it will).I was super impressed with Jason. His kind demeanor, friendliness, and fair prices made me an immediate fan. This is a family-owned and run business and you can better believe they are my go-to company for carpet and rug cleaning, flooding issues, and anything else carpet-related. Thanks, Jason!
